It will help us manage and maintain the Calgary Police Service Police Information Check (PIC) that we now require from all Board Members and Key Volunteers aged 18 or older. Head Coaches dedicate significant time to player development, practices, games, and team communication throughout the season. In recognition of this commitment, Head Coaches receive 12 volunteer points.
Team Managers assist with scheduling, communication, coordination, and overall team organization throughout the season and receive 12 volunteer points.
League Coordinators assist with division-wide organization, scheduling support, communication, and league operations. Point allocations will be assigned based on role responsibilities and time commitment.
Assist with preparing the field before games and practices. Duties may include raking the infield, chalking lines, setting bases, and helping ensure the diamond is game-ready.
Help support game operations by tracking the scorebook or monitoring pitch counts during games. No prior experience is necessary — guidance can be provided.
Support a positive and respectful game environment by assisting with communication and helping ensure players, coaches, parents, and spectators uphold Centennial Little League’s standards of sportsmanship.
Assist the team by collecting, washing, and returning team uniforms at the end of the season before they are handed back to the league.
(T-Ball and Rookie Divisions Only)
Assist coaches during practices or games by helping manage drills, player rotations, or on-field support under the direction of the Person in Charge (PIC).
Families who volunteer during Centennial Little League’s assigned casino nights will receive credit for one-third of their required seasonal volunteer points. These events are critical fundraising opportunities that help keep league fees affordable.
Families assisting with league photo day operations will receive credit for one-third of their required seasonal volunteer points. Duties may include organizing teams, assisting photographers, and helping maintain scheduling flow.
Please note: Families who do not fulfill their required volunteer commitments during the season, and who have not selected the Volunteer Opt-Out option at registration, may be subject to a volunteer fee charge ranging from $100–$200, depending on division and outstanding requirements.
