How do I register?

Registration in handled with an online registration process or a one day walk-in registration. Early bird registration starts online in January. Regular online registration runs from February to March. Late registrations are subject to a $25.00 late registration fee. There is no guarantee of player placement for registrations A $75.00 volunteer cheque will need to be submitted with all incoming registrations as well as players birth certificate and proof of residency verification.

The $75.00 volunteer cheque will only be cashed by CLL at the end of the season if your child's team feels that you did not volunteer the necessary amount to ensure that everyone is involved and contributing equally. You can fulfill your volunteer responsibilities in many ways, including coaching, assistant coaching, team parent etc. If you are unsure of what to do but would like to help please contact the CLL Executives. Our League is run on the dedication of volunteers. The $75.00 cheque, made payable to Centennial Little League and dated June 1st and mailed in to CLL @ Box 51035 Beddington Post Office, Calgary AB T3K 3V9.


Who will coach my child?

Centennial Little League encourages all parents to submit their names for coaching. The board has a process to which coaches are selected and teams assigned. There will be 1 head coach and 1-2 assistant coaches per team.


What type of volunteering is required by parents if they do not wish to coach?

Some of the duties required by parents who are not coaching are as follows: - score-keeping, field preparation, base umpire for the younger groups, equipment manager, team manager. All parents are expected to lend a hand in one way or another. Believe it or not, your kids LOVE to see you involved with their team and CLL can only be successful with volunteers.

Here is a list of required equipment for all players: - Baseball glove, running shoes or cleats (no steel spikes), water bottle and a baseball hat. - All players, boys/girls are required to wear an athletic support cup and batting helmet as per L.L. rules. - Baseball pants for Minors and above (sweat pants are fine for T-Ball and Machine Pitch). - During the spring, due to Calgary¦s changing weather, please bring warm clothing to layer to all games and practices. - The League will supply team jerseys (handed out by coaches), that will be returned to CLL at the end of the season. - The League will supply baseball bats, baseballs, catchers gear and various training equipment to every team, that will be returned to CLL at the end of the season.

Part of the Centennial Little League uniform is WHITE baseball pants. These are not provided by Centennial Little League they are however available most sports stores.

For the 2017 Centennial Regular Season, the playing dates will be as follows; Tee Ball Games - Tuesday and Thursday Practices - None Machine Pitch Games - Monday and Wednesday Practices - 1 day per week, dates determined by coach Minors (AAA) Games - Tuesday and Thursday Practices - 2 days per week, dates determined by coach Majors Home Games - TBD Practices - 2 days per week, dates determined by coach Juniors Home Games - TBD Practices - 2 days per week, dates determined by coach Seniors Home Games - TBD Practices - 2 days per week, dates determined by coach

For divisions in which Centennial does not interlock (Tee Ball and Machine Pitch), teams and schedules will be available in April. For interlock division teams (Minors, Juniors, Seniors, and Big League) will be finalized by April 1st and schedules are typically finalized in the first couple weeks of April.
