See our registration page you to identify which division your athlete belongs.
Teams are assembled early April, rosters distributed to the coaches who will then contact you by last week of April to let your team. Depending on field conditions, practices could start in April for some divisions. Machine Pitch and T-Ball will start to May 1st and run through to early July.
T-Ball: Tuesdays and Thursdays, Machine Pitch: Mondays and Wednesdays, Minors: Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Sundays, Majors, Juniors and Seniors will vary throughout the weeks. There will be 2 practices per week, schedules set by the coaches with the exception of T-Ball (no practices) and Machine Pitch (1 practice per week, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Your coach will let you know).
All players of all ages must provide their own baseball glove, baseball pants and protective cup. Centennial supplies jerseys, which must be returned at the end of the season.
To ensure equal distribution and fairness, coaches and players are placed together based on experience and/or evaluated scores.
Under the Little League charter, no child may be excluded from play based on inability to pay. Subsidies are available through Kidsport -- visit our registration page for more information.
Once registration has ended, the information is processed and reports for each division are prepared for the player agent. Player evaluations then take place in March for Majors (11 year olds) and upward. Teams are then determined and coaches are assigned a team and players are then assignedto the teams. Coaches must attend a meeting with the player agent to review rules, events, etc. At this time coaches receive the team roster and may begin contacting parents and when complete, practices can begin.
All 11 year olds and up must attend our evaluation event. The event provides an opportunity for division coordinators and coaches to assess the athletes ability. This process assists the league in distributing an even playing field for the season. Evaluators will be reviewing pitching, fielding, hitting of all the players and graded on a specific criteria. Players are required to evaluate during the appropriate time slot for their age group for one of the dates. If you are unable to attend either of the dates, please contact the administrator.
Your first attempt should be to address your concerns with the coach away from the diamond/athletes. If you feel your concerns have not been addressed, the next step is contacting the administrator/player agent. Each knows how to assess the situation and will seek support from the board if needed.
Coaches are responsible for deciding to play a game or not. Your coach will contact you if a game is to be cancelled.
