Diamondawgs FUNdamentals program for young baseball players.
Diamondawgs will be offering a FUNdamentals program for young baseball players. Sessions run from March 4th to March 28th on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday’s at Diamondawgs Training Center. (102, 5855 9th Street SE)
Our focus with our young athletes is to instill greater self- confidence on and off the field. Diamondawgs facilitates that through athletic development in their baseball and athletic FUNdamentals. At their age, having the confidence to hit, catch, throw and field well is paramount to their athletic success. While baseball fundamentals will be the main focus, we will also be offering an introductory strength and conditioning aspect to this age group. Though at their age it may not be necessary to be lifting weights, it is crucial to educate pre-teens on arm health and care, sprint and agility mechanics, and to learn how to rotate effectively to throw and hit harder.
Other information about this Diamondawgs camp:
- Weekly throwing video analysis
- Weekly hitting video analysis
- Age groups of 8-12 (we can make exceptions, though)
- Less than or equal to 1:5 Coach to player ratio
- Radar gun readings on throwing and hitting velocity
- Maximum amount of players is 15
· Total cost of : $210.00 +GST
